Things people ask first
Do I need my own SMS or WhatsApp account?
Yes, and that is the point. You connect your own Beem, NextSMS, WhatsApp Business or other account, send under your own approved sender name, and pay your provider directly. KadiChap is the software; we never mark up your messages.
What happens at the gate if the network drops?
The scanner keeps working. Scans are saved on the phone and sync when the connection comes back, and the same card cannot be let in twice.
Can the cards be in Kiswahili?
Yes. Write your messages and pick your card wording in Kiswahili or English, the card types are Kadi ya mwaliko, Ukumbusho and Shukrani.
Can I sell tickets?
Yes, anytime. Connect your own payment collection account, set your ticket types with prices and limits, and share your ticket link. Buyers pay you directly and receive a ticket with a QR code. You can sell at the door on the day as well.
Do guests have to install an app?
No. Each guest opens their own card from a link, replies with one tap, and shows the QR code at the gate.
How do I pay for KadiChap?
By M-Pesa, other mobile money or bank transfer. You send us the transaction reference from Billing, and your plan switches on as soon as the payment is confirmed.
